Self Doubting

Self Doubting
I have being doing this! Yes self doubting!
I know that when we "second guess, self doubt' ourselves that we are interferring with the process of the universal flow of things.
So, why do we do this.
I even know that what ever we think and believe "can and will be manifested".
So, I ask why do I continuiously second guess myself or doubt myself. This really causes me problems.
I think that I can do anything, until I get around some negative being that tells me that I can not do it.
Why do I listen to such crap? Knowing what I do, and knowing my accomplishement thus far why would
such a negative thing have so much "power" to make me doubt myself?
I find this very interesting. Knowing well that I "the spark of the divine" the one that dwells within
is the creator of all things. With this spark I am able to create, even self doubt..this is not what that
universal flow is for.
this is just a rambling thought that passes through my head right before I open another business!
I was so confident within and then a negative person threw this thought at me of failure and I
began to doubt myself. (I know it was probably a jealousy emotion that I was confronted with)
even with the knowing that it did have the power over me to doubt myself. I thought wow..darkness is very powerful.
I shall over come. I will rise above it.

Re: Self Doubting
honey, it's my understanding that we doubt ourselves, because we haven't perfected, yet. which is the whole reason we're here. i don't think there is one living person today (or in history) that hasn't self doubted him or herself, because after all, the saying goes, "to err is human..." if nothing else teaches us that We ALL go through this as a major part of the learning process (which I truly believe that the 3 major lessons we ALL incarnate here to learn are: 1. Grief, 2. Self-Doubt, and 3. Rejection, the rest are merely further knowledge that all lead into these three major things!) But like i said, if nothing else shows us that we all do this, look at Christ. He went to the garden, and begged God to be let out of his chart, and we know that God said, "Sorry, you bit off more than you think you can chew." but that's not the point...the real point is, that even Jesus Christ, the same man that a major religion is based upon his teachings, fell victim to that inevitable lesson of self-doubt.
When I was a kid, the preacher at the church we attend was always so eager and ready to quote, "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." I used to think that that was his way of keeping the flock in control, but now, I would like to think that that scripture from the Bible is merely a poetic way of saying, "we're all gonna make mistakes and doubt ourselves and our own actions, because we're not Perfect like GOD!"
Especially, when you take into the consideration that the true definition of the Aramaic word "Sin" means "missing the intended mark." So taking that into mind, "For all have sinned [missed the intended mark, made mistakes, etc] and come short of the glory of God ['s perfection]."
And although I do (all too often) doubt myself and my actions, I never spend more than a passing thought on beating myself up over them, or allowing them to control me. In other words, if Jesus doubted himself, than I think we're allowed to doubt ourselves too. As long as we understand that it isn't the "doubting" part that weakens us, it's the ALLOWING the doubting to weaken us.
You'll do just fine and dandy with your new business, honey. As long as you wake up every morning, say to yourself and God..."Dear God, this day is for you, and I want to make the most of it." that's what we chose to come back down here to do.
You go, girl!

Re: Self Doubting
Self doubt is the shadow, but you are the light, is that not what we forget sometimes? Keep your head up and rising and never look back. Many well wishes on your new business Sami.
